Born to a Jamaican-Panamanian mother and a Jamaican-Chinese father, Ka’hryn began her humble journey to stardom in Bronx, New York. She realized at age 12 what she wanted to do with her life and it came as no surprise that Ka’hryn followed her dreams immediately following high school. Grooming for this moment her entire life, Ka’hryn had been no stranger to the spotlight. As a classically trained dancer she began her training at the Harlem School of the Arts and later studied with the Atlanta Ballet. Since 2003, Ka’hryn has held seven (7) pageant titles including becoming the first African-American to attain both the titles of Miss Cities of America Teen (2003) and Miss Georgia American Coed (2008).
With the confidence of her crowns, Ka’hryn returned to Atlanta to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. She has coupled with indie label First Born Music and Entertainment. Today, Ka’hryn is finishing the recording of her debut album which will not only feature her vocal ability but showcase her talent as a songwriter. Ka’hryn brings her real life situations and relatable experiences to her writing. She fuses together Hip-Hop with her own Pop/Rock/R&B sounds. She will be branded by her signature catchy mainstream melodies that will attract a wide demographic. Ka’hryn will write or co-write every song on her debut album.
